Tyrannosaurus Vs Edmontosaurus

A hungry male Tyrannosaurus rex attacking an Edmontosaurus duckbill; making a fierce bite on the base of the tail but not deep enough for the prey to be immobilized. The duckbill will escape, perhaps when he wacks the rex with his tail after it is freed from the predators jaws. The bite, though not deep, was enough for the deadly bacteria to settle into the wound, however, and who knows how long the Edmontosaurus has until he weakens and falls prey to another large predators.....
